Plaza de Armas, in front of the Cathedral — I will be waiting for you at the main door of the Cathedral, wearing  a walking tour white t-shirt.

We are going to start the tour right here a perfect stop to appreciate the oldest cathedral in Peru, the second biggest one in South America.

You will know about the most famous Peruvian chronicler from the colonial period, father of Peruvian Literature.

We are going to walk through the Botanical Garden of Cusco, you will know more about the endemic plants in the region of cusco.

Head towards the oldest public high school in Cusco founded by Simon Bolivar in 1825.

You are going to walk through the most iconic arch from Cusco, built to commemorate the Peru–Bolivian Confederation in the 19th century.

The God Inti gave them a golden rod and told them that “they will form the Empire of the Incas wherever the rod sinks.” They traveled many kilometers until the pole suddenly sank when they were passing through a swamp. This swamp is now known as the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.

Get to know about La Calle del Sol or Inti Kijllu in the Quechua language, one of the fewest wide stone pathways well-kept from the Inca period.

 Discover the palace remains of the most famous Inca Emperor, who changed the social order of Andean societies in the 15th century. 

We are going to explore the inside of this palace to have an idea about housing, and urbanism (open from Monday to Friday), otherwise just outside.

This palace was built by Inca Roca and was the residence of his panaca “Ayllu WaqaK’irau. This palace has amazing walls with dipictions of animals. You will know how the Incas’ organization was at that time so that they can construct such incredible walls.

The artisans’ neighborhood. We will visit its viewpoint and plaza. I will tell you some short stories of the curious names, and quechua names of the streets.

This tour concludes at plazoleta San Blas, 5 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas.
